My recent stay at Vecchio Treno Guest House in Tivoli was a delightful escape, perfectly blending comfort with the genuine hospitality of the lovely couple running the place. Our quaint room, despite being small with bunk beds, was a cozy spot after long days exploring the stunning surroundings, including the nearby Villa Gregoriana, just a short walk away. The warm tea and coffee facilities in the communal area offered a charming touch, making it feel like home while facilitating our social moments. With easy access to Rome via just a €5,40 train ride, we found that the tranquility of Tivoli far surpassed the usual tourist hubs; I highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a true slice of Italian charm.
